Jacqueline Taylor Lloyd was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where she began dancing at the age of three.
Jackie received her training at some of Los Angeles' prestigious dance studios, such as, Millennium Dance Complex and The Edge Performing Arts Center, studying from various leading choreographers in the industry. She continued her dance study and training throughout high school and college, becoming a member of different dance programs and their companies.
Throughout her studies, Jackie worked as a freelance dancer, working regularly with choreographer Janet Roston on various dance projects, which included being a featured dancer for four years in DanceHeads videos, one being for the DVD release of the movie "Kickin' it old Skool", and in corporate shows for Jose Cuervo. She's appeared on shows such as Good Day LA dancing for Crunch Gym as well as MTV India in Sammy Chand's "Dil Mungdi". She remained working whilst attending Santa Monica College where she went on to receive her Associate's degree in dance in 2011.
After receiving her degree, Jackie moved overseas to Sydney, Australia in 2011, where she continued on with her commercial dance career. In her two years in Australia, Jackie gained professional experience in the dance industry working with choreographers Jason Gilkinson, The Squared Division, Matt Lee and Marko Panzic, performing with artists such as Ricky Martin, Jessie J, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo and Basement Jaxx. She performed as a regular back-up dancer for Australian artists Timomatic, Ricki Lee and Jessica Mauboy, performing in their music videos, tours and live shows. She has also appeared on shows such as, The Voice, X-Factor, The Logies, The Arias, Everybody Dance Now, State of Origin, The Footy Show and Sunrise. She can also be seen as a featured dancer on TV commercials for KFC's Cricket Big Bash, Everybody Dance Now and Australia's Next Top Model. In addition to television work Jackie has performed in corporate events for international companies such as Absolut Vodka, Coca-Cola, Jim Beam and Toyota.
Jackie moved back to Los Angeles, California in the summer of 2013 and is a performer with Bloc la, one of Los Angeles' leading dance agencies. Since moving back she has continued to work prolifically in the dance industry. Some highlights include appearing in a national UGGS Australia campaign, performing overseas in Dubai for a Royal Wedding under the direction of Amy Tinkham and Lindsay Nelko, and dancing as Rihanna’s backup dancer in Eminem x Rihanna's The Monster Tour 2014 with creative direction and choreography by Hi Hat Productions. Some of her recent work includes dancing at the Oscar's for The Weeknd and performing in Fergie's "M.I.l.F. $" viral music video, both under the direction of Fatima Robinson. She has also been spotlighted as ambassador of the month on the Kylajoy website, a women's handbag brand that showcases inspirational women from all walks of life (click here for full article), and is currently on tour with Fergie.
Jackie seeks to become a well rounded performer through different outlets outside of dance. Along with her interest and involvement in acting and modeling, she works along side photographer Paul Da Silva as movement director for dance photos as well as teaches dance workshops and classes for kids and adults of all ages.
